Message from the Founders
Inspired by our professional and personal journey, WOSITA Foundation is the culmination of combined dreams of close friends with the support of family members, who share the same beliefs and values of celebrating women – Our hopes; Our dreams; Our aspirations; Our triumphs; and Our Success.
We are motivated by an inner drive and commitment to empower women in Seychelles from all walks of life, and to improve the quality of family life, through the social causes we support, the projects we hope to undertake, and the networking between all our members. We have been actively engaged in mentorship and charitable causes, and we have seen how it brought about the confidence of the young women in the respective programs to aspire for leadership, as well as the solidarity and friendship between all the stakeholders involved in the various charities or programs for a common good.
It is important for us that we embrace and value the contribution and diversity of experiences, knowledge, skills, and cultures of the women joining WOSITA Foundation as members, and that of the communities or causes we serve for the betterment of Seychelles.
We encourage all members to operate under the guiding principles of the objectives and core values enshrined in our Constitution, our Code of Ethics, and to be committed to the preservation and enhancement of voluntarism, as well as to hold stewardship of these concepts.
We thank you for your interest in the WOSITA Foundation and for engaging with us throughout the drive to pursue its objectives.
Warmest regards,
Veronique Herminie
